Our Vision

1982

Established as the Credit Information Exchange System under the Central Bank.

1997

In 1997, CIBI was privatized, expanding services to businesses and launching background checks that helped companies hire confidently and Filipinos build trusted identities.

2016

CIBI became a CIC-accredited Basic Tier SAE serving the credit market.

2020

CIBI was acquired by Creador, a leading private equity firm. CIBI started collaborating closely with Credit Tip-Off Service (CTOS), Malaysia's leading creadit reporting agency, to bring innovative strategies to the Philippine market.

2023

Now the longest running credit bureau in the country, with 40+ years experience in information gathering and data management. The first and only CIC-accredited Advanced Tier SAE.

2025

SEC partnership grants CIBI access to reliable regulatory data.

2026

FIDS is a platform that allows institutions to share fraud signals through a secure, centralized database.
